Maddi Manheimer - Photographer & Visual Storyteller

Born and raised in St. Louis, Maddi comes from a deeply artistic family where creativity was part of everyday life—whether through painting, music, or fashion. While each member expressed their artistry in different ways, Maddi was the first to channel it through photography. The camera became her tool for translating emotion, perspective, and imagination into visual stories.

Her love for photography began in the quiet of her high school darkroom. It was there she discovered the power of seeing the world through her own lens—creating images that reflect not just what she sees, but how she feels. One of her earliest 35mm film photographs was featured in her school’s art show, affirming photography as her creative path.

Today, Maddi’s work blends fashion and abstract photography, often blurring the line between reality and imagination. Rooted in abstract expressionism, her images use bold color, surreal elements, and emotion to challenge perception and evoke feeling.

Her passion for fashion photography was sparked during a shoot with her mother, styled in pieces from her vintage clothing collection. That moment revealed the emotional depth and narrative potential in fashion imagery—and she’s been exploring that space ever since.

With each photo, Maddi invites viewers into a world shaped by creativity, emotion, and perspective—offering a unique vision informed by a lifelong connection to the arts.
